Ingredients 1/2 cup solid veg shortening 1/2 cup butter 1 tsp clear vanilla extract 1/4 tsp almond extract 4 cups powdered sugar (1 IB) 2 T milk Instructions Cream butter and shortening, add vanilla. Laffy Taffy Buttercream Frosting

Posted by instant-gratificaketion I adapted this recipe from one I found online originally but the instructions weren't specific enough for my tastes, and I felt that the measurements called for were off. The brand/type of butter used is very important (I originally used Country Crock, which I use for EVERYTHING, but it curdled horribly). It took 3 tries to get it down, and I think it could still use a little tweaking to be perfect, but the result is a light and delicious flavor.
