I serve it every year at thanksgiving and Christmas and it makes a great gift with a bow and the recipe attached to it. Hope you like it! I found a post that someone used apple cider in their spice cake mix instead of water, not sure who it was. I also found a cream cheese icing on this site that I edited some. The pumpkin in the recipe is basically replacing the sour cream. It ends up having a nice mild flavor, but you could add more pumpkin if you wanted it stronger.
