   thank you for posting this, I need to make my first roses for a wedding cake and I did not do so well with the welton way in class. Wish me luck

   What do you use as a “paste”, please? Thank you for this…I have never quite mastered the rose in BC so this may be a wonderful alternative. Thank you for sharing your talent!

   do you use water as the paste? i also have trouble making bc roses and would like to try your method, looks much easier. thank you

   water works great as the “glue” or “paste” for your flowers – or another great glue is 1/4 teaspoon of gum paste dissolved in 1 tablespoon of water
