Thank you so much for this tutorial! Although i need some advice/help!!! When putting the flower together the petals broke here i attached the wires to the petal. What was i doing wrong? how can i fix this problem next time??

What is the “buckling” issue that dalis4joe mentioned? How can I avoid it?
If you intend to put them “into” a cake , as a decoration, how long should the wire be? Should it reach all the way to the cake board? I there any way to help the “stem” be more secure in the soft cake?

I did this tutorial and almost all my petals buckled where I attatched the wires….

Thank you so mutch for posting this I found it very informitive. I used this tecneque in a varity of collors for my daughters wedding cake and applied the same wiring tecneque to make irises on a wedding cake for a friend. they were bolth beautiful!
