I recently on a thread wondering when it started picking up. At the beginning of this week, I one 'maybe' cake and a cake for next Monday that was free because she won a gift certificate at our business.
So, I have 5 more cakes to do this weekend. :o Amazingly enough, some of these are new customers that have just gotten brochures and 2 are repeat customers. It's the week for last minute cakes. I'm loving it but I'm tired. It is great to see business start coming in from brochures and some of the marketing we've been doing.
Just needed to share because I was whining about no business 2 weeks ago. Of course, after Monday, I have no confirmed cakes until Christmas. Now, if I can get people calling earlier. |
