Would that be possible to modify Search in certain areas - for example
if I go to Cookies, and want to search for Butterfly, I don't want to get butterflies cakes, but just the cookies. Even if I put "Butterfly cookies" in search , I get cakes......
That would be so much easier, when looking for ideas, to see a few pages, and not to go through so many. Maybe there is the option, but I don't see it.
Any help????

I think what you're looking for in a gallery search is similar to what we have in a forum search. In gallery search, we have just one space to type in our search criteria (and if people don't put "cookie" as one of their keywords, then you're right .... you're going to get every photo that has the word "butterfly" in it.

Whereas in the forum search, we can enter the word "butterfly" in the search field AND we can tell it to search the Cookie forum only.

Good idea.

yes, this is a good idea, maybe search within a search.

it would also be nice to do a search and scroll through only those results, whereas now...if the first cake you look at within your results is a birthday cake and you click next, you are automatically out of your search results and into the birthday cake photos where the first cake appears.

I believe that's because the search program looks for the words that we enter in the "keywords" space at the time the photo is uploaded. The search program doesn't look at what forum it's in .... just looks at keywords.

And it's looking for "butterfly" and looking for "cookie". I dont' think it looks for a combination of "butterfly AND cookie". Enter just butterfly and you get 71 pages of pics. Enter butterfly cookie and you get 268 pages.

try using the advanced search tool "filter by" (it's a new feature under the place where you type in the keyword. You can filter by a specific album category, such as cookies.

Thanks bonnie! I never would have known this existed. I clicked the Galleries tab, then entered in the big search box on the right. I never EVER would have thought to click the little word "search" (meaning the word "search" that is written in little font, located to the left of the big search box) to get a DIFFERENT search screen. :?

I think this set up needs changed as it's confusing, there's nothing there that tells me "click this little search word if you want to search for stuff", and unless you use the little word "search" then a lot of searches will be incomplete and the searcher will have no idea.
