A newby, but I've been 'bitten' by the contest bug. I live in the Columbia Gorge area (close to The Dalles, Or) and was wondering if there's any upcoming contests in Portland or surrounding area?

there is the Washington State Sugar Artist show in Shelton WA this weekend. See Jackie's newletter for the link to the website.
If you want to enter you might have to call today and beg for them to accept your application this close to the show. |

I know its a little late for this year, but the Oregon State Fair has a cake decorating contest each year. I'd love to have some more competition there :wink:
Rules and entry forms are posted on the Oregon State Fair website, in June before the Fair. |
