We have made a few improvments to the photo gallery
Thanks to your suggestions we have added or fixed the following:

Report Photos New Feature!
Now you can report photos to the administrators.
How can you report photos?
When you are viewing the full version of the photo (not the thumbnail)
Look below the photo, and click the "Report Photo" button.
What photos should I report?
Any photo that contains peoples faces (faces on decorations are OK and do not need to be reported)
Any photo that is a copyrighted image, such as a scan from a magazine or book
Any photos that are not of cakes.
Any naughty cakes or gross cakes that are not in the proper gallery.
Please do not report cakes if you feel the cake is based on someone else's idea.

Edit/Delete Your own photos New Feature!
Now you can edit your own photos. You can update keywords, title and descriptions, and move your photos into a different gallery.
How can you edit or delete your own photos?
Easy, just click on "My Photos" from the "my Account" box on your left, then click the thumbnail image of the photo you want to edit/delete.
Scroll down below the photo, you will see new buttons for editing and deleting.
 
Please note that you will not be able to edit/delete any contest entries during voting, or within 72 hours of voting start time.

Cake Contest Voting Randomizer Fixed!
This was a great frustration for a lot of people. The randomizer would put the photos in a random order while voting, to make it more fair to the contest entries, however it was so random, that many people stopped voting alltogether.
During voting, it will still be "random" however the order of the photos will stay the same for each individual, and not re-order themselves while viewing the gallery.

Gross Cakes Gallery New!
"Gross cakes " that look like toilets, kitty litter etc. We now have a special gallery for these kinds of cakes, which you can find here:

These cakes are accessible to everyone and will still show on the homepage, and in search results. We have simply given them a new home. |
