White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cupcakes

Hello! I made these last year for Christmas and they turned out pretty good. I didn’t see anything similar, sorry if i missed it! I frosted them with white chocolate buttercream. I hope that y’all like them!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 package white cake mix, plus ingredients for the cake on the box
  • White chocolate instant pudding, 4 servings sized box
  • 3/4 cup macadamia nuts
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350. Prepare cake mix and add the pudding. Fold in nuts and white chocolate chips. Bake for 18 – 20 mins. I’m not 100% sure but about how many this should make, maybe around 25-ish?

They are also good with some toasted coconut on top of the frosting. If you’d like to try spread 1-1/2 cups of coconut onto a baking sheet on 350 for 6 mins.

Made these for my daughters grad party...everyone loved them I filled them with french creme and used the white chocolate frosting. I couldn't find white chocolate pudding so used white hot chocolate mix instead. Thanks for sharing!

I'm really happy that they have worked out for y'all!!! I've posted a white chocolate BC recipe that works great with them, too.

Good, but not great. My son said it tasted like regular vanilla cupcakes with nuts. I'll try this again but probably add melted white chocolate to the batter. It was good, though. :)

I'm excited! This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm making 4th of July cupcakes to take to a party and I'll top them with white chocolate buttercream and a white chocolate star :-) Thanks!!

That sounds really awesome! Do you have a recommendation on how to make white chocolate buttercream? I have a good buttercream recipe but don't know how I would achieve that. Thanks!
