This makes a nice firm mousse.
Simple Chocolate Mousse 2
Ingredients
- 8 oz of Bittersweet Chocolate
- 1 1/4 cups of Heavy Cream
Instructions
- In food processor chop chocolate finely. Heat 1/4 cup of cream for 15 seconds in microwave. Pour into chocolate and blend in processor until smooth.
- Beat remaining cream to stiff peaks. Mix in chocolate mixture with whipped cream.
This recipe did NOT work for me. As soon as I mixed the chocolate mixture into my cream that was beaten to stiff peaks it turned into a sloppy mess and no matter how much I mixed it did not thicken. Not only that it didn't taste good at all, I was very disappointed.
