This is a doctored up cake mix that is to die for !! Everytime I make this cake someone always asks for the recipe ! It is so good you don’t even need frosting. It can be made in a Bundt pan -bake for 50 – 60 min. If layering I frost with a caramel or brown butter frosting, I usually bake from scratch ,but this cake is too good and easy!!! enjoy
Do not overlook this cake. The flavor is outstanding. I filled it with IMBC made with brown sugar, brown butter and some rum and then frosted it with rum icing. Most raves ever.
This cake is fantastic - very moist. I filled it with Maple Walnut Buttercream and used Almond Buttercream to frost it. Nice nutty flavor throughout.
