I’ve had a lot of requests for this cake .It’s one of my favorites,I have many ,many customers repeatedly order this,It has a great texture,and a rich flavor.Happy baking .
Pecan Pie Cake
Ingredients
- I butter pecan cake mix
- 1 4 serving instant vanilla pudding
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup dark rum
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- combine all ingredients in order given,beat for 4 min. on medium speed,place in 2 8″ 0r 9″ greased and floured pans. Bake at 325 for 40 min. depending on oven( could take up to 50 min) cool cakes, and fill with caramel filling,or praline filling
Sounds tasty, I don't keep rum in the house. Would it be possible to substitute rum flavoring and additional water or milk?
I don't have pecan mix available..any ideas?
