Im not yet good with cakes that need creaming and i avoid it at all costs.This recipe has solved my creaming crisis,and i am speciafically posting it for newbies like myself.
Ingredients
500g/4 cups cake flour
2 and half tspns baking powder
450g /2 and half cups sugar
350g /2 cups soft margarine
8 eggs
4 tblspns milk
1 tspn vanilla essence
Instructions
Preheat oven at 180 degrees,grease 23cm/9inches baking tin.Put all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.With a wooden spoon combine all ingredients then beat until mixure is smooth and shiny,if using an electric mixer,beat for 1-2mns.Bake for 1hr 45mns.
once cool,frost with your favourite frosting. cake is ideal for birthdays.
Well i bet if its so low for ur oven,you can use the normal temp u usually use to bake.As for the oven i use 180 is alright.even when am going to cut the cake
180 degrees really??? why so low? If i was cuting the recipe would it still need to be baked on that low a temp.?

180 degrees CELSIUS is 350 degrees ferinheight. Just thought I'd help OP as I bet she bakes in celsius..
But an hour and 45 minutes?? seems like a very long time. And I'm guessing it would go into two 9" cake pans? Or maybe that's why it take so long!
