Got this recipe from someone who was a friend of a friend of Larita, not sure how close it is, but it tastes good!! :)

Larita's Frosting

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crisco 1/2 cup real butter (unsalted) 1 cup water 2 tsps salt 2 tsps vanilla 1 tsp almond flavoring 2 lbs powdered sugar

Instructions

Mix ingredients like you would for a butter cream recipe!

I work for Larita and that is absolutely NOT her recipe. It is not even close. Nice try. Whoever told you that was her recipe sold you a bill of goods and you believed it.
