Filling for Mello Yello Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flaked coconut 1 cup pecans 1 (20oz.) crushed pineapple, drained and liquid reserved 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained and liquid reserved 2 cups sugar 5 tablespoons flour 1 1/2 sticks butter

Instructions

Mix pineapple juice, sugar, and flour and simmer until thick. Remove from heat and add butter, coconut, pecans, and pineapple. Mix and spread on cake.
