This is basically a doctored cake mix with cinnamon, allspice, and grated chocolate chips - Super Easy!

Decadent Autumn Chocolate Spice Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 Box Yellow Cake Mix 1 Cup Flour 8 oz Sour Cream 4 eggs 1 cup sugar 5 Tbsp melted butter 1 tsp vanilla 2 Tbsp cinnamon 1 Tbsp Allspice 1/2 bag milk chocolate chips, grated. 1-2 Tbsp flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Whiz chips in your chopper or quisinart with 1-2 tbsp flour to prevent clumping. Sift cake mix and flour. In a separate bowl, mix sour cream and one egg until smooth. Add remaining eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Add sugar and mix to combine. Add butter and mix well. Spices and vanilla go in next, mix. Fold in grated chips.
  2. Bake for about 35 minutes.

This sounds really yummy! I've been looking for some good "autumn" cakes. I need to make some cupcakes soon and this sounds promising - is there any particular frosting that you would recommend with it?
