Chocolate Peanut Butter Icing

This is a recipe I came up with after enjoying a Reese peanut butter cup! It is delish. Everyone who had had it loves it!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of shortening
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon meringue powder
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 to 4 1/2 cups of icing sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix togather shortening, peanut butter, meringue powder, milk, and vanilla. Blend until smooth, then add powdered sugar, one cup at a atime until well blended. You can thin it a bit by adding a little more milk slowly, or thinken by adding more sugar.

Thanks for the recipe, however where is the chocolate? if there is no chocolate in the recipe why call it chocolate peanut butter icing? still tastes good but i want to know what chocolate you added if any to it. Thanks
