Chocolate Cake from Pillsbury White Box Cake mix

This recipe came out of a need for a chocolate cake and limited time! I searched the internet looking for a simple solution and ended up combining suggestions. It turned out nice and moist. Hope this helps others!

Ingredients

Amount Ingredient
1 Box Pillsbury White Cake Mix
1/2 c. Cocoa Powder
1/2 c. Sugar
1/2 c. Flour
1 Small Box Chocolate Pudding Mix
3 Eggs
1/2 c. Oil
1 c. Mini Chocolate Chips

Directions

In a mixer, combine cake mix, sugar, flour, and pudding mix. Mix thoroughly then add wet ingredients. Mix until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees.

Do the chips melt and stay that way or is it with chips in it
Denise, the chocolate chips do melt in.
Will it work well as a topsy turvy cake? Or is it too moist? I have made this cake before but it wasn't a topsy turvy cake but it did have layers and stacked just fine. Thanks!
