Ok well this is one of my favorite scone recipes that my god mother makes. She gave me this recipe because I loved it and it tastes soooo good! It’s moist inside makes it all the better!
Ingredients
2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp cream of tarter
Pinch of salt
3/4 tsp baking soda
8 Tb unsalted butter (cut into pieces)
1/2 cup of raisins
1 egg (beaten)
1/2 a cup of buttermilk
Instructions
Mix dry ingredients in food processor, add the butter, let it combine, then add the rest of the ingredients until totally combined.
Roll out onto floured board 1/2 inch think.
Cut into 1 1/2 to 2 inch rounds.
