I was asked to maka a Angry Birds Cake.


But I could find only one small tutorial how to make the Angry Birds.


That's why I decided to make photo's during the making off this cake.

  • different colours fondant/gumpaste,
  • your favorite tool to make small accents,
  • glue or water
  • brush
  • siccer

Awesome cake! How do you get your little angry birds to be so smooth. Whenever I make balls or characters it has creases and lines in it. Thanks!

Thanks for your nice comments! Unfortunately there are a few photos missing but if you make the other Angry Bird with the same procedure, of course in the appropriate color complemented with their own details, then it must also be fine. Sorry for the inconvenience. I made it so smooth because I rolled the sugar paste / gumpaste balls in my hands long enough. If, however, it still cracks, you can still try with Crisco through thisthe gumpaste/fondant. Well good then roll again. Good luck!

I used the Sugarcraft Gun to make the birds nest. But you can also use a garlic press!

Thanks Araucaria. Unfortunately unable to view red, black angry birds & the lovely piglets making procedure photo, but it's awesome ..... Is this cake fully deco with fondant ? I also wonder how you make the wooden sticks & grey brick wall castle, it's look so realistic & neat hand works. Adore your professional hand works.

what is the tool you use for the birds nest?I think its better than the extruder!btw!any one from UAE knows where I can buy the Massa or the gum paste?please!Thanks!

It's an amazing cake Araucaria, thank you for sharing, I need to make one so can you please help me with some information like how did you make the logs? I would be incredibly in your debt if I could get the full instructions/photos for the birds and cake decorations. (the logs and topper). I have to do an angry birds cake for my 8 year old nephew for July 28th. Your design is beautiful and he would love it! Thanks for sharing!
